[The role of plasmapheresis in the treatment of patients with sensorineural deafness].

T A Sichkareva, V V Vishniakov, D E Kutepov.

Abstract

Sensorineural deafness is a polyetiologic disease. The most common cause leading to the development of this pathology is circulatory disturbances in the inner ear and brain. A predisposing factor is modified rheologic properties of blood, largely due to hyperlipidemia. Plasmapheresis performed in patients with sensorineural deafness ensured positive dynamics of biochemical characteristics and results of audiometry.
