Abstract
Recurrent Klebsiella pneumoniae liver abscesses (KLAs) are rarely reported. Six cases of recurrent KLAs are characterized. Most of the patients had diabetes and K1 serotype KLAs. All of the isolates were uniformly susceptible to cefazolin. Distinct molecular fingerprints were found for the strains isolated from both primary and recurrent KLAs.Entities:
