Hypothesis: vascular twin naevi and somatic recombination in man.

Abstract

Can the genetic concept of somatic recombination explain the phenomenon of vascular twin naevi in man? If so, this cutaneous disease would be a human counterpart of twin spots observed in animals and plants.
