Abstract
Physical maps of the DNA of bovine adenovirus (BAV) type 1 were established using ApaI, BamHI, BstEII, EcoRI and KpnI enzymes. The size of the viral genome was found to be around 35,000 base pairs. The orientation of the maps was determined by hybridizing Southern blots of BAV-1 DNA with the cloned hexon gene region of BAV-3.Entities:
