Tuberous sclerosis with oral angiofibroma: case report.

Abstract

Tuberous sclerosis is a multisystem disorder characterised by the formation of hamartomas in various parts of the body. We present a patient who presented with facial angiofibromas (adenoma sebaceum), shagreen patches, and epileptic seizures. Oral papules showed histological features of angiofibroma, which was peculiar to this case. 2009 The British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
