Abstract
The nephrotic syndrome has been frequently associated with thromboembolic episodes. We report the case of a patient affected by minimal change nephropathy who developed acute thrombosis of the spleno-mesenteric portal axis and partially recovered after thrombolytic and anticoagulant therapy. Unfortunately, the patient died of pulmonary embolism after suspension of the anticoagulant therapy for gastrointestinal bleeding.Entities:
