Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To report the use of laparoendoscopic single-site surgery for the management of ectopic pregnancy. DESIGN: Case report. SETTING: University hospital. PATIENT(S): A 25-year-old woman with a 7-week ectopic pregnancy and pelvic inflammatory disease. INTERVENTION(S): Laparoendoscopic single-site surgery and broad-spectrum antibiotics. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURE(S): Complete resolution of the ectopic pregnancy and pelvic inflammatory disease. RESULT(S): A detailed description of the technique of a single-site surgery for management of ectopic pregnancy. CONCLUSION(S): Our case presents the first report of single-site surgery for treating ectopic pregnancy.
