Abstract
A case of severe human cytomegalovirus esophagitis after short-term corticosteroid therapy in a patient with no other apparent cause of immunodeficiency, such as human immunodeficiency virus infection, neoplasia, or previous organ transplantation, is described herein. The cytomegalovirus esophagus infection was successfully treated with ganciclovir.Entities:
