Abstract
Two newborn infants with mucoceles of the nasolacrimal sac presented with respiratory distress due to mucocele-induced nasal cavity obstruction. Nasolacrimal duct probings were performed and resulted in immediate and permanent relief of respiratory difficulties. This rare complication should be considered in the evaluation of infants with congenital nasolacrimal sac mucocele.Entities:
