Abstract
Echinococcosis is a parasitic infection of humans caused by the larval stage of the tapeworm Echinococcus. Primary alveolar echinococcosis of the adrenal gland is rare. We report a case of alveolar hydatid disease of the adrenal gland that presented as a multiloculated cystic mass without calcification. The lesion was purely cystic in nature, suggesting that it was at an early stage of development.Entities:
