Abstract
Arthroplasty has been shown to reduce the rate of reoperation after femoral neck fracture. A number of studies have compared the outcomes of unipolar and bipolar arthroplasty. At 1- to 3-year follow-up, the functional outcomes of unipolar and bipolar arthroplasty are equivalent. Bipolar arthroplasty has a higher initial cost. However, the long-term results of acetabular wear and need for revision are unknown.Entities:
