Abstract
Accumulating evidence indicates that various aspects of angiogenesis, such as proliferation, migration, and morphogenesis of endothelial cells, can be regulated by specific miRNAs in an endothelial-specific manner. As novel molecular targets, miRNAs have a potential value for treatment of angiogenesis-associated diseases such as cancers, inflammation, and vascular diseases. In this article, we review the latest advances in the identification and validation of angiogenesis-regulatory miRNAs and their targets, and discuss their roles and mechanisms in regulating endothelial cell function and angiogenesis.Entities:
