Abstract
Meckel's diverticulum is the most common congenital anomaly of gastrointestinal tract, occurring in 2% of the population. More than 80% of patients are asymptomatic. Complications like intestinal obstruction, bleeding and inflammation of Meckel's diverticulum occur in 4% of patients. The case of a 42-year-old male patient with axial torsion and gangrene of giant Meckel's diverticulum is presented.Entities:
