Abstract
Mechanical pressure applied to a Brockenbrough needle at the fossa ovalis is the standard transseptal puncture technique. Circumstances where the fossa ovalis is thick or aneurysmal can make this method challenging. In this case, we illustrate the use of a radiofrequency powered transseptal needle to cross the fossa ovalis.Entities:
