Abstract
Local flaps are the procedure of choice in reconstruction of skin defects of the face if the donor defect is minimal. The sliding V-Y subcutaneous island flap is gaining in popularity but has been primarily used in dorsal defects of the nose. Patients demonstrating its application in nostril defects are presented. Indications for the use of this flap continue to expand.Entities:
