Abstract
Prompt diagnosis of problems in the first trimester of pregnancy is facilitated by ultrasound scanning and quantitative serum human chorionic gonadotropin and progesterone testing. When used appropriately, these tests can determine whether a patient has a normal early pregnancy, a miscarriage, a missed abortion, an ectopic pregnancy or a hydatidiform mole.Entities:
