Abstract
Live donor renal transplantation remains the best treatment option for end stage renal failure in pediatric patients (1-3). Better understanding of the hemodynamics of donor-recipient size discrepancy and advances in interventional techniques with improved surgical techniques have decreased the incidence and severity of surgical complications and enhanced graft survival (1, 2). We describe a rare complication occurring intra-operatively in a pediatric renal transplant resulting in acute limb ischemia and the surgical option taken.Entities:
