Abstract
A case of a 73-year-old woman with fibrinous pericardial effusion which developed four weeks following severe pulmonary embolism. Clinical and echocardiographic data as well as an inclination to self-limited course were suggestive of Dressler syndrome diagnosis. Although there were no data that oral vitamin K antagonist use was involved in presented pericardial syndrome, pericardial effusion size required its temporary substitution by heparin.Entities:
