Abstract
Sunitinib is now a standard first-line therapy for metastatic clear-cell kidney cancer. This paper focuses on interpretation of the overall survival data presented at the 2008 annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology from the pivotal phase iii trial comparing sunitinib with interferon in the first-line setting. The previously published progression-free survival and response rate data from that study are also summarized.Entities:
