Abstract
The beneficial effects of mild stress (or hormetic effects) on aging and longevity have been studied for several years. Mild stress appears to slightly increase longevity, delay behavioral aging, and increase resistance to some stresses. However, not all stresses have such beneficial effects and, for the time being, only a few studies have been done in mammals.Mesh:
