Tips of the trade #39. Technique for removal of cannulated screws.

Cannulated screws should be removed with the least amount of traumatization to minimize postoperative pain, morbidity, and the use of intraoperative anesthesia. We describe a technique for the percutaneous removal of cannulated screws that has worked well in several patients.
