Abstract
Levetiracetam is an antiepileptic drug widely prescribed. We report here for the first time, an alteration of platelet function attributable to this drug. This effect has never been reported before. The responsibility of levetiracetam seems to be probable: restoration of platelet functionality was observed after withholding this treatment and this effect has been described for a structurally related molecule, piracetam.Entities:
