Abstract
A 42-year-old male patient was transferred as an emergency with suspected retrobulbar neuritis due to a central scotoma. He had suffered from reduced vision in the right eye in the past. The diagnosis was chronic recurrent retinopathy centralis serosa due to many years of corticosteroid intake for bronchial asthma and Crohn's disease. Photodynamic therapy was carried out on the right eye and the corticosteroids were discontinued.Entities:
