Abstract
A rare case of biventricular Loeffler's endomyocarditis is reported in a 61 year old gentleman who presented with heart failure. After four months treatment with immunosuppressive therapy and anticoagulation, the echocardiographic findings had regressed and the patient had symptomatically improved. This case demonstrates that the institution of prompt medical therapy, even in advanced cases of Loeffler's endomyocarditis, may be effective and negate the need for surgical intervention.Entities:
