Abstract
A diastereodivergent addition of allenylzincs to aryl glyoxylates was observed depending on the method used for the preparation of the allenylzinc reagent. The allenylzincs were prepared from propargylic benzoates in the presence of a palladium catalyst or by metalation of alkynes.Entities:
