Abstract
The determination of Aluminum (Al) in biological material by Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis (INAA) contains some problems; (1) polyethylene bag enclosing specimen contains Al, (2) biological material includes the abundant phosphorus. Two elements interfere the Al determination by competing reactions, 28Si(n,p) and 31P(n,a), and the interference factors from each elements were 3.1x10(-3) and 1.0x10(-3), respectively. The Al concentrations in 18 biological reference materials and human tissues were determined by INAA.Entities:
