Abstract
We present two cases of intussusception in the adult. Both cases were secondary to a benign lipoma as the lead point. These cases represent typical cases of adult intussusception, a rare disease characterized by insidious onset, vague abdominal symptoms, and elusive diagnosis. A diagnostic and therapeutic approach to adult intussusception is suggested. The need to consider this rare entity in the differential diagnosis of chronic abdominal complaints in the adult is emphasized.Entities:
