De Finetti representation theorem for infinite-dimensional quantum systems and applications to quantum cryptography.

Abstract

We show that the quantum de Finetti theorem holds for states on infinite-dimensional systems, provided they satisfy certain experimentally verifiable conditions. This result can be applied to prove the security of quantum key distribution based on weak coherent states or other continuous variable states against general attacks.
