Abstract
Subintimal wire dissection is a well-established method for traversing difficult vascular occlusions. This technique relies on re-entry of the true lumen distal to the occlusion, which may be difficult in diseased vessels with significant calcification. This case report describes a novel "cheese wire" technique to allow stent positioning without the use of proprietary re-entry devices.Entities:
