Abstract
Imidacloprid is a systemic, chloronicotinyl insecticide. It is generally considered nontoxic to humans based on available literature. Its effects are mediated through acetylcholine receptor blockade. We report a patient with such poisoning who had respiratory arrest, for which he had to be mechanically ventilated, and who subsequently recovered. This is only the second such case report.Entities:
