Abstract
This article describes the treatment of a girl in whom anterior trauma during the deciduous dentition had caused a dilacerated maxillary central incisor in the mixed dentition. The dilacerated central incisor was extracted, and a canine was transposed to the extraction site. Canine transposition was performed so that the lateral incisor could be maintained in its normal position. This article discusses the clinical implications of dental dilacerations on orthodontic treatment and the treatment possibilities.Entities:
