Abstract
An efficient one-pot propargylation/cycloisomerization tandem process has been developed for the synthesis of substituted oxazole derivatives from propargylic alcohols and amides with use of p-toluenesulfonic acid monohydrate (PTSA) as a bifunctional catalyst.
