Abstract
Although urine testing remains the standard method for identifying and monitoring drug addicts, recent data suggest that it seriously underdiagnoses the prevalence of fetal exposure to various drugs. Results obtained with other body fluids and tissues (meconium and hair) are reviewed and the laboratory methodologies used to detect drugs are discussed in details.Entities:
