Abstract
Although considered rare, dentists may encounter oral pain evoked by a change in barometric pressure, a condition known as barodontalgia (aerodontalgia). The article reviews the epidemiology, clinical presentation, pathogenesis, diagnostic process and differential diagnosis (including facial and dental barotrauma) of this phenomenon.
