Abstract
The glenohumeral joint is a complex articulation with little inherent stability, capable of significant rotations. The capsuloligamentous structures play a critical static role in maintaining joint stability. Various components have been identified both anatomically and functionally, with their contributions varying depending on joint position and the direction of applied forces.Mesh:
