Abstract
Ectodermal dysplasia (ED) is a hereditary condition diagnosed in childhood that is characterized by developmental and morphological abnormalities of anatomic structures derived from the ectoderm. Multidisciplinary management and team approach are important to ensure the patient's quality of life and to provide the family members with needed support. Several conventional prosthetic treatment regimens have been available for the oral rehabilitation of ED patients, but definitive dental implants still remain a challenge for the growing patient. The purpose of this clinical report was to describe the use of provisional implants in the prosthodontic management of a young ectodermal dysplasia patient.Entities:
