Abstract
We report the first case of Corynebacterium bovis shoulder prosthetic joint infection. The organism was isolated from intraoperative tissue culture and from the removed prosthesis using sonication. A 2-stage exchange and 3 months of antibiotic therapy were performed. C. bovis may cause implant-associated infections, which can manifest as low-grade infection.Entities:
