Abstract
A case of a recurrent bronchogenic cyst in a 42-year-old woman 25 years after original resection led to a review of the therapeutic modalities for the management of bronchogenic cysts. Recurrence of bronchogenic cysts is a reason for complete surgical excision of symptomatic bronchogenic cysts at initial presentation. If either asymptomatic or symptomatic bronchogenic cysts are drained or partially excised, long-term follow-up is indicated to detect recurrence.Entities:
