Chemotactic behavior of nematodes.

D B Dusenbery.

Abstract

Nematode chemoreception is reviewed Methods that have been used to measure chemotaxis are discussed and a new method using a video camera interfaced to a microcomputer is briefly described. The chemical stimuli that have been identified are discussed. The transition from attractant to repellent as NaCl increases in concentration is demonstrated by new data.
