Abstract
Esthetic dentistry has evolved dramatically over the years to the point of becoming an expectation from most patients. It is not a fad but is becoming a standard of care for the majority of dental treatment. By learning to practice good quality interdisciplinary dentistry, it is possible to turn a general practice into a comprehensive care practice that caters to high-quality esthetics and function. This article discusses incorporating interdisciplinary dentistry into the general practice and offers some clinical examples.Entities:
