Abstract
The Visible Human Project has been controversial since the National Library of Medicine launched it in 1996. The project uses real bodies to create 3-dimensional virtual bodies. The first body to be photographed belonged to an executed criminal. The Medical Ethics Council of The Norwegian Medical Association has assessed whether it is ethically acceptable for an ongoing research project at the University of Oslo to use data from The Visible Human Project.Entities:
