Preliminary results using superfractionation in the treatment of glioblastoma multiforme.

Preliminary results of a phase I--phase II trial of the use of superfractionation radiation treatment in the treatment of Glioblastoma Multiforme are presented with the rationale for this form of treatment. A comparison is made with an historic control group from the same institution, and a significant improvement in survival is noted in the experimental group over this control group.
