Abstract
End stage renal disease and renal replacement therapies predispose individuals to a multitude of unwanted symptoms. Fatigue is one of the most frequently reported and disruptive symptoms experienced by patients with ESRD. Living with fatigue places added burdens on individuals and can impact negatively on quality of life. Nephrology nurses must ensure that patients'fatigue is managed effectively. Researching interventions to reduce fatigue among patients with ESRD should therefore become a priority. This article provides a review of research on the symptom of fatigue in individuals living with ESRD.Entities:
