Abstract
The superficial neck nodes in only 1 out of 7 patients with head and neck cancer studied received more than 90% of the prescribed dose when treated with opposed 6 MV photons. Beam spoilers placed upstream from the patient enhanced the dose to the superficial node at the expense of higher dose to the skin.Entities:
