Figure 1Lymphocyte proliferation to mycobacterial antigens in subjects with a spectrum of tuberculosis. The percentage of subjects with lymphocyte proliferation index of ≥ 5 to the indicated antigens is compared in subjects with active TB, latent TB and no TB in (A) all subjects, (B) subjects with a CD4 count < 350 cells/ul, and (C) subjects with a CD4 count ≥ 350 cells/ul. The proliferation index is the ratio of counts per minute after stimulation with indicated antigen over counts per minute in unstimulated condition.
