Abstract
Pneumothorax associated with pneumoperitoneum is rare. There are scattered case reports of this syndrome in the pediatric literature but very few reports in the adult literature. Several possible causes exist. Maurer at al. suggested that it results from air entering the pleural space through a diaphragmatic defect. In this paper, we report a patient with a perforated diverticulum and a concomitant pneumothorax.Entities:
