Abstract
The occurrence of multiple fibrofolliculomas or trichodiscomas on the face and neck is clinically characteristic of Birt-Hogg-Dubé (BHD) syndrome, whereas the development of multiple fibrous papules or angiofibromas on the face is an important clinical sign of tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). It has been suggested that a relationship exists between BHD syndrome and TSC and there was a case of BHD syndrome reported recently, in which multiple fibrous papules or angiofibroma lesions were observed. This report describes the first case, to our knowledge, of fibrofolliculoma in a patient with TSC.Entities:
