Abstract
We report the unusual case of a patient with AIDS who presented with headache and left hemiparesis. MRI revealed a right heterogeneous hemispheric brain mass surrounded by vasogenic edema, suggestive of a neoplasm. Pathological examination demonstrated Candida species within the mass. To our knowledge, this is the first case in the English literature of a tumour-like brain mass due to Candida infection.Entities:
