Abstract
Clear cell adenocarcinoma of the female urethra is a rare malignant tumor arising from urethral diverticulum or paraurethral ducts and glands, and extends to the submucosa surrounding the urethra. In the advanced stage, the tumor may involve adjacent organs such as the vagina, and may mimic gynecologic malignancy. We report 2 cases in which magnetic resonance imaging could reveal their urethral origin by detecting the normal urethra within the mass as targetlike appearance on axial T2-weighted image.Entities:
