Abstract
A case of prosthetic valve endocarditis caused by Corynebacterium pilosum in a 79-year-old woman developed eighty years after aortic valve replacement with bovine pericardium bioprosthesis is described. In spite of the antibiotic therapy she presented an unfavourable course that led to her death.Entities:
